Becky Frith, soaking music, healing

A little bit about me...

Music has always been my passion, ever since I used to wander round the house singing ABBA's "Thank you for the music" at the age of four!  I am intrigued by the power of music to change a mood or an atmosphere; the ability it has to lift people's spirits, to either energise or relax, and to communicate a message or feeling deeper than that which words alone can convey.  I think music is one of the greatest gifts that God has given to mankind.  In turn I want to use the gift of music to help bring healing, hope, rest, inspiration and a deep awareness of Him to the world.  Whether that be through a song of adoration or an instrumental piece, a song written for a friend or a documentary soundtrack...that is my dream.

I have worked with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) since 1995.  I lived in England until 2002, then I moved to Switzerland, where I lived for 8 years.  My work has taken me to many different countries, including Albania, India, South Africa, Kazakstan, the USA and New Zealand.  Now I live back in the UK and although I still work with YWAM, I also link with other organisations and churches; leading worship, writing worship songs and composing music for promotional videos and short films.  I still travel internationally to lead worship and help with various conferences and seminars.
